Lightroom Publish to Web Gallery "Image Pages" Dimensions...

I often publish a gallery of photos direct from LR4 to the web and I typically set the "Image Pages" size to 800px so that the depth of any portrait pictures fit nicely within the size of most screens without the need to scroll down.

The problem with this is that 800px also becomes the constraint of the WIDTH of the image as well, which is something I really don't like.

I often create wide panoramic shots and at 800px width this makes the image very small in the published gallery. If I push this up to say 1200px in the Image Pages dimension, I get great looking full screen panoramas but then the flip side of this is my portrait shots are absolutely massive and you have to scroll down to see all of the image!

Is there a way of being able to constrain the width AND the height independently much like the "Resize to Fit" when Exporting pictures to a hard drive.

Hopefully someone can suggest a way this can be achieved and if this isn't possible, this is feature Adobe should really consider implementing.

David
